Biobank Governance
Genetic Alliance Webinars
Registries and biobanks are important tools to advance research, and stewardship and governance are vital components of these research endeavors, as donors are requiring more accountability, transparency, and information about the research studies they participate in. We will discuss timely issues, such as data-sharing, stewardship, privacy, and transparency in biobanking. Who has access to data and samples? Who should have access to data and samples? How are results reported to participants?
